CONVALESCENT HOME MINISTRY
Second Half is uniquely positioned to serve senior adults in Folsom who are currently living in both convalescent as well as board and care homes in our community. While others may view these residents as unworthy of our concern and care, they are not considered as such either by God or by our team. Serving alongside of caring volunteers from other churches in the Folsom area, Second Half’s convalescent home program reaches out to those who may have been forgotten by others.
We provide Sunday worship services in each facility and visit residents on a regular basis throughout the week. Several times a year, we plan and coordinate special events where the residents can leave the premises of their home facility to enjoy some outdoor fun in the spring and fall, and indoor fun during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
