Baptism by immersion, originated during New Testament times, has been part of virtually every branch of Christianity throughout church history. A believer's baptism allows one to publicly make an expression of faith in Jesus Christ. We celebrate Lakeside baptisms often throughout the year - we value these exciting occasions!

Baptism Orientations

We offer a baptism orientation to explain the significance of baptism and answer any questions about this expression of Christian faith. Both children and adults are welcome to attend. The actual baptism celebration takes place within a week or two after the orientation. Baptism orientations are offered throughout the year. Registering for the orientation is recommended. However, walk-ins are always welcome. Register for desired date listed in "Upcoming Events." We meet in the Auditorium @ 12:15 pm on each date.
