Groups with varying sizes, timeframes, and focuses are designed to help you connect to a community and to encourage and nurture your faith.
Study Groups
Study groups are short term and content based, providing the opportunity for connection with your church family and for growth in your spiritual walk.
NEW BELIEVER STUDY GROUP
Mondays, April 8–29: 6:30–8pm
Are you new to following Jesus? Do you wish you had some basic tools for understanding the Bible and using it to guide your life? This four-week study will teach you the basics about the Bible, how to read it, and how to engage with Jesus in fresh ways to grow your faith. Accepting Jesus is the beginning of a beautiful journey, and this study will help you navigate the roadmap we've been given in Scripture. This group is a safe place for asking those questions that arise when you begin following Jesus, while providing a community of people to grow alongside with.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT WOMENS STUDY GROUP: WOMEN MEETING GOD
Wednesdays, 7–8:30pm (Get there at 6:45 and chat for a bit!)
Join this group of ladies of all ages, of all stages of life, and of all different stages in their spiritual journeys as we work through various studies and get to know God and each other. Whether you are just learning about Jesus or have been intensely studying the Bible for years, this study group is a great opportunity to connect with other women and take a deep dive into Jesus’ teaching through practical Bible studies and encouraging conversation.
Community Groups
Community Groups bring people together as they journey through similar stages of life or connect through like interests. Through our Community Groups, you’ll have the opportunity to connect relationally and grow spiritually as you experience life in community.
WOMENS
We were created for connection and to find rest and joy in Jesus together, and our Women’s Group will help you do just that! This community group hosts monthly events and meet-ups for all you ladies to come together and meet each other and invite your friends. Join the group to get up-to-date info on all our womens monthly events.
MENS
Join our Mens Group and find camaraderie as you build friendships and further your relationship with Jesus. By joining the group you’ll stay updated about upcoming events, and you are also invited to join us for topical studies of Christianity related to manhood. We meet twice a month to hang out and study God's Word on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of each month, 6:30-8pm. You do not have to commit to every meeting ... just come try it out! MOMS
Join mamas of all ages and in all stages of life this semester. Come be “set free” this semester with a study for moms who are tired of trying to be good enough. We will be diving into Jeannie Cunnion’s Bible study, Mom Set Free, while growing, connecting, and encouraging one another through the love of Christ!We meet Tuesdays from 9:30-11:30am. (Look for separate childcare registration on the registration form.)
GAME GROUP
The Game Group is a great way to connect with others and simply have fun. Bring your favorite board games, some snacks to share, and a friend for a fun Saturday afternoon at church!
55+ community group

YOUNG Professionals
Calling all 20 and 30-somethings ... post-grads, young professionals, young married couples, pre-kids, engaged, single, divorced, etc. Be a part of a community where we learn from each other, develop friendships, and study God's Word together. We meet weekly, Mondays from 7-8:30pm, starting up again January 22. Join the group for more details.
HIKING GROUP
Do you like to get out and hit the trail? We are blessed to have some of the world’s best scenery and hiking trails in the High Sierra practically in our backyard. Join the Hiking Group and keep up to date on our upcoming hikes. We try to schedule a quarterly day hike, generally in the 10 – 15 mile range with some of the usual elevation ups and down. Join the group to be notified about upcoming hikes.
STRING MUSICIANS
Calling all violinists, violists, cellists, and double bass players of any skill level! If you enjoy playing a string instrument, then join this group to meet other string musicians and to have some casual fun playing together. Join to find out about upcoming dates.
financial peace journey
The Financial Peace Journey community group provides graduates of Financial Peace University with a supportive community for ongoing encouragement, hope, and practical advice to help you achieve peace with your financial goals. Find support as we meet periodically throughout the year and stay in touch between meetings to help regain momentum and build connection with others on the same debt-free journey! (This group is for graduates of Financial Peace University.)
Small Groups
Join a small group and find a community of people to do life with. Small groups of eight to fifteen people —women, men, coed, couples, individuals, etc—meet for Bible study, prayer, and friendship and together grow deeper in their relationship with each other and with God.

MSM GIRLS GROUP

Monthly, Fridays: 3:30–5:30pm
4|5 Kids is designed around building community and encouraging kids in living out their faith, while of course having LOTS of fun! Every month kids will enjoy time with peers, eat plenty of snacks, and participate in a unique event! Whether it’s playing kickball, smashing pumpkins, or racing bobsleds, this time is dedicated to helping kids experience God’s love in community with others. Cost: $30

Anxiety & depression
Anxiety and depression can be both physically and emotionally debilitating and rob you of joy. This group will provide you with valuable support and practical tools to help reduce stress, depression, and anxiety through biblical and neuroscience insights. We meet Thursdays, 6:30-8:30pm.

You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through your grief, while also providing you valuable resources to help you begin recovering and rebuilding your life.
